Meet Alexandra
Alexandra Todorovic is a voice teacher, professional operatic soprano and pop-rock singer.
She gained her bachelor's and master's degrees in opera singing and vocal pedagogy at the Music Academy of Zagreb. Although she specializes in opera singing, Alexandra is an expert in contemporary pop music and uses her strong background in technique to teach vocal skills in almost any style of music.
Alexandra grew up in Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegowina and was only 16 years old when she was awarded with special recognition by the City of Banja Luka for great impact on art as a young artist in 2009. During that period, as a pop singer, she often performed on various national televisions and pop festivals throughout the Balkans, which, in addition to awards, brought her a lot of experience and skills. One of the most significant awards is certainly the victory at the famous Pop Festival "Slančane Skale" in Montenegro.

During her studies Alexandra earned the Rector's Award at University in 2016, as well as the nomination for “Best Opera Singer Younger than 28” at the Croatian Actors Award 2017.
After completing her studies in Zagreb, she joined Opera Studio at the Opera Graz for two years, where she performed many roles. The most significant one was the role of Melisande (Ariane et Barbe-Bleue by P. Dukas), which was also her first professional debut.
Alexandra won many awards in competitions in Austria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Montenegro and Croatia. In 2019, she was finalist at the “Grandi Voci” opera competition in Salzburg where she won “Donizetti Preis” and “Bumbry Preis.” She was also awarded with scholarships from the Rotary Club Zagreb, AIMS Summer School in Graz and earned “The Best Of South East” scholarship from Sparkasse Bank and Opera Graz.
Now in Berlin, Alexandra performs professionally as a singer, teaches in private schools and owns a voice studio.
